Lamonizer

A very simple Python script to sanitize text files, inspired by a teacher who forbade contractions in essays. I wrote this to make sure I didn't lose any points. The original contraction dictionary seems to have gotten lost, however. I'm including it because I posted it on the web in high school, and some professor on the east coast started teaching with it! Simple, terrifying Django chat application. Uses jquery for simple AJAX, degrades gracefully to browsers that don't support javascript. Couldn't possibly scale, as it relies on absurd polling. Also it's fairly... unfinished. Download
